Abstract Title: Open Access EU Food Composition Database (EU FCDB): Development, Harmonisation and Future Maintenance

Biography:

Andreia Lopes is a Seconded National Expert at the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), working in the Data Gateway & Outreach Team of the Integrated Data Unit. She specialises in food composition data, harmonisation methodologies and FoodEx2 classification. She coordinates scientific and technical activities related to the development of the Open Access EU Food Composition Database (EU FCDB), working closely with Member States, EuroFIR and internal EFSA units. Her work focuses on data quality, documentation standards and improving the availability and comparability of food composition data across Europe.
